Do prices quoted include VAT and delivery?

All prices quoted on this site exclude VAT and delivery. VAT at the prevailing rate and any delivery charges applicable will be added to your order at checkout. Please note we charge extra for orders to non mainland UK destinations. We will confirm any extra charges on receipt of your order and prior to shipment.

What types of payment do you except?

We accept most major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Amex or you can pay by cheque (delivery subject to clearance). Alternatively you can apply for a business with Barloworld Handling Ltd by completing the application form. This information must be checked and approved by our credit control department before any goods will be dispatched. Depending on your credit rating we may not be able to provide credit in which case you will be asked to pay by credit card or cheque.

Are payments via the site secure?

Our secure credit card transaction server uses the latest 128-bit SSL technology. Your card details are safe and cannot be shared.

What does P.O.A. mean?

P.O.A. means Price On Application and is displayed on certain products which due to their nature require a site survey or other check by Barloworld Handling to ensure that the correct specification and cost is quoted for your needs. Please use the 'Contact us' form to request further information.

My product is wrong, faulty or damaged – what should I do?

How can I be sure of the quality of products on barloworldstore?

Barloworldstore.co.uk is run by Barloworld Handling, one of the UK's leading suppliers of materials handling equipment with some 50 years experience in providing cost effective solutions for businesses across the UK. We endeavour through our preferred supplier arrangements to ensure the products we supply are of the highest quality. All our suppliers are UK based and are vetted for quality of their products and quality processes. In the case of defect most of our products come with a manufacturer's warranty.

What is the lead time?

The estimated lead time in working days (exclusive of weekends and bank holidays) is displayed on the product description page. You can check the status of your order once you have logged in. The lead times shown are an estimate only and not guaranteed due to factors outside our control. Please contact us if you need an item quickly.

What is the minimum order value?

We do not have a minimum order value.

Do all products conform to UK legislative requirements?

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that all products sold through Barloworldstore.co.uk meet current UK legislative requirements we accept no responsibility or liability that they do. Please check the product specification listed on the product description page or contact us for further information.

Is your call centre based in the UK?

Yes, we are a UK based company and our customer service team is based in Warrington, Cheshire and all staff receive full training to give our customers the support required.

I cannot find what I am looking for, can you help?

If you can't find what you are looking for within our online catalogue we may still be able to help. Please contact our friendly customer service team and we will try to source the product for you.

I need more information about a product, what do I do?

If you need further information before placing your order please call our customer service team on 0800 021 7820 or select the 'enquire' button on the product description page and complete the enquiry form.

I have a promotional discount code, how do I redeem it?

Promotional discounts are redeemed at checkout. Simply go to your basket and under your saved product list enter your promotional code number into the field supplied then click the 'Update' button. The value of the discount will be removed from the total order value at checkout.

Can I purchase products from Barloworldstore.co.uk from outside the UK?

Please contact us prior to placing your order. Some product items can be shipped subject to a delivery charge to other European locations, however, non UK deliveries are not always available and we do not ship any products outside the EU unless specifically arranged.

Can I place an order by cheque?

Yes, we except cheque payment from UK based companies. Please contact us to confirm your order details and receive further instructions. Your order will normally be held until we receive payment and funds have cleared. Alternatively you can apply for a business account via the Login / register screen.

I have placed an order but not received delivery, what do I do?

Please login and check the status of your order through the control panel under 'My account'. Please contact us if you have not received your order outside the indicated delivery lead time.

I have problems logging in

Passwords are case sensitive. Please make sure you have your caps lock off when entering your password. If you have forgotten your password we can arrange to send you a reminder via the Login / Register page.

What should I do if my product needs servicing or parts?

How do I update my account details?

If any of your personal or company details have changed please login and update your details in the My Account page. It is important to keep your email address up to date as we use this to keep you informed of the status of your orders.

Can a colleague use my login details?

Your login details are for your personal use only and should not be passed to anyone else. You will be held responsible for any order placed with your registered details. If someone else in your organisation wishes to order products from the site please ask them to register on the site.
